What squalane will and will not do around the eyes. It will help with dryness, tightness, and the fine crepey texture that shows up when skin is dehydrated — real benefits, and the reason well-moisturized under-eye skin looks smoother and takes concealer better. It will not fade dark circles, drain puffiness, or remove eye bags. Dark circles are usually pigmentation, blood vessels showing through thin skin, or shadowing from the bone structure underneath, and no emollient touches any of those.
